Malcolm Campbell
has wide experience in outdoor safety management. He has worked as a senior inspector with the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority and currently operates the ROAM outdoor accreditation scheme on behalf of Cumbria Tourist Board. He is a consultant lecturer in Outdoor Education and Leadership at St Martins College Ambleside and the University of Central Lancashire.

Steve Howe
originally trained as a journalist and has subsequently held a variety of key executive roles in the Outward Bound Trust. He is a specialist in promotion, fundraising, media training and crisis management in both the charitable and commercial sectors. He is an accomplished mountaineer and fell runner.

John Mason
has wide high level experience of multi-agency working within Local Authorities with particular expertise in the areas of Education, Children’s Services and Youth and Community work. As Assistant Head of Lancashire Community and Youth Service he was responsible for managing the phased restructuring of the Service. He is currently Chair of Mountain Leader Training UK.

John Shaw
Shaw is a senior partner of Bentleys Chartered Accountants and has 30 years of practical experience of business modelling and forecasting. He is a specialist in charity accounting and audit. John is a keen mountaineer and skier and a former governor of Bolton Institute of Higher Education.

Jamie Whittle
is a lawyer specialising in environmental law, a talented linguist and the author of White River, a recently published meditation on the River Findhorn. He is a paddler and mountaineer with a particular commitment to wilderness journeys.
